About Emirdesk
Emirdesk sets up companies in the UAE, keeps their accounts and handles their visas. We publish free zone tariffs and our own prices on the site so you can compare before you talk to anyone.
Who we are
Emirdesk is operated by Legarithm Corporate Services FZCO, a UAE free zone company at Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE. We register companies in free zones, on the mainland and offshore (offshore companies are filed through a registry-approved registered agent), keep their books, file corporate tax and VAT, process residence visas and prepare bank account applications. Registrations and returns are submitted in your own EmaraTax account and approved by you. If someone other than your company has to act for it before the FTA, for example in a tax audit or a reconsideration request, that must be an FTA-registered tax agent; we tell you if your case needs one.
We run our own UAE company, so the licence renewals, filings and visa steps described on this site are ones we go through ourselves.
How we check the numbers
The Free Zone Index covers 45 zones. For 19 of them the licence price is checked against the zone authority’s own published tariff, package page or price on its website, and each card shows the date of the last check. The other 26 zones do not publish a tariff, so their figure is a market estimate and the card says so.
Tax and visa rules on the site are taken from primary sources: federal laws and Ministerial and Cabinet decisions published by the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Tax Authority, and the immigration authorities (ICP, GDRFA). Each guide and service page lists its sources. Calculators use the rules printed under them.
We re-check tariffs every quarter and whenever a zone or a ministry announces a change.
Who writes the guides
Guides, service pages and blog posts are written and updated by the Emirdesk team and show the date of the last update. They explain the rules in general terms and are not legal, tax or immigration advice for your situation; for that we confirm the position for your facts in writing before you act.
Corrections
If you find a figure or a rule that is wrong or out of date, write to setup@emirdesk.com with the page address. We check it against the source, correct the page and update its date.
How we work with clients
Prices in writing. Our service pages show our starting prices. Every quote lists government and zone fees at cost and our fee on separate lines, so you can see what each part costs.
Your own pace. A quote has no deadline. We send it by email and wait for your reply, with no sales calls in between.
